I don’t think Arsenal would run away with it either, and I hope it’s a good battle. My point is only that you just need to look at the midfield 3 that started against West Ham, in Rice, Odegaard, Eze, to see that this team is not the conservative team it was next season. I expect some big wins soon

Because it’s been 7 games and if you think this seasons Arsenal are the same as last season then I would question your journalistic credentials, to be honest. Like I said, the last 3 games have seen a clear shift in emphasis, which you’re bizarrely just trying to step around

The only way they play together is if Salah leaves yeah, but even if that were to happen I think their profiles are far too similar to make an effective partnership. I mean in essence they are the exact same player, and that’s one of the main reasons they signed Ekitike

In conclusion, it’s a non-issue really. Definitely a few things to improve on, but not a glaring issue especially compared to the massive holes in the performances of City & Liverpool

Small sample size, but Arsenal’s open play xG has been on par (if not better) than their rivals over the last 3 games, including more than doubling Liverpool’s open play xG against Newcastle when comparing both teams trips to SJP. Having SJP, OT & Anfield + City at home also a factor for low xG

Nobody wants to say it, but Liverpool made a right mess by signing both players. They will know this internally, and with the benefit of hindsight I think it’s abundantly clear that they would not have touched Ekitike if they knew Isak was available. Ekitike will be at another club within 3 seasons

Tottenham aren’t competing for a league title. Not trying to “troll” you for being a Spurs fan, but you’re going to be desperately disappointed if your aspirations are for Spurs to be in a title race. The first XI doesn’t stack up well against Arsenal & Liverpool, & the squad at large has big gaps

I think that ultimately City will be let down over 38 games by their defence and the lack of a serviceable replacement for Rodri. The numbers show that they are only an above average PL side when he doesn’t play.
