Texas clearly did a racial gerrymander, which is illegal.

A district court found that Texas did a racial gerrymander, rejecting the new map because it is illegal.

But the Supreme Court reversed it.

Because? Must assume the gerrymanderers were acting in good faith (despite the evidence otherwise).

This really lays bare how absurd the manufactured war theory is:

A shipwrecked survivor of a Hellfire missile strike on his small burning vessel is supposed to do... what, exactly, to show he is not "in the fight"?

When there is no war, applying the law of war is an exercise in absurdity.

If you look at government as something that fulfills the public's objectives, then yes. All this is meaningless. But, if you look at government as a profit center for Trump, then you'd see this worked out just fine.

Former Honduras president, convicted of trafficking, freed on Trump pardon
A former DEA agent called the release “devastating”: “It means any attempt to work your investigations to the highest levels is meaningless.”

What about the Auto-nap?
Trump dozes while Marco Rubio speaks to him directly next to him. Just insane optics.

Trump’s attorneys would never put him on the stand because he’s a liability to his own defense. This is yet another example.
Trump: "Pete didn't know about the second attack having to do with two people. I guess Pete would have to speak to it. I can say this. I want those boats taken out. And if we have to, we'll attack on land also."

Let's be clear, here. Trump is admitting that he, not Hegseth or the Pentagon command staff, is ultimately responsible for the illegal strikes because it was his orders to carry out those strikes.
Trump: "Pete didn't know about the second attack having to do with two people. I guess Pete would have to speak to it. I can say this. I want those boats taken out. And if we have to, we'll attack on land also."

A guy who's consistently busy at not following the news.
RAJU: If defenseless survivors were killed, would that constitute a violation of the laws of war?

MIKE JOHNSON: I'm not going to prejudge any of that. I was pretty busy yesterday. I didn't follow a lot of the news.

It was never about finding and reducing “fraud”. It was a distinct project to realize the billionaires ideology fever dream of cutting the benefits that people voted for and received from their government.

New, by me at this.weekinsecurity.com: Router maker TP-Link faces a potential U.S.-wide ban over its alleged links to China.

In my latest analysis, I dive into why a TP-Link ban is unlikely to make America meaningfully safer from Chinese cyberthreats (or anywhere).

Banning TP-Link won't save America from its own terrible cybersecurity
TP-Link routers face a ban in the U.S. over the company's alleged links to China, but shoddy cybersecurity is the real insider threat to the United States.
