I was one of those Americans, waiting. I was a college student, at 41 yo. I was in the math lab when I saw the news, peaking at my phone, anticipating a decision. I started crying. I was very joyful, but full of hyper emotional relief. The tears fell all day that day. My daughter depends on it now

The NYT, Atlantic, WaPo, CNN, Guardian and others have all refused to sign Pete Hegseth new rules on reporting from the Pentagon. As far as I can tell only OAN has signed it. I guess this is Hegseth waving goodbye to their access to the Pentagon and other DOD facilities.

If James visits the home regularly then it is available to her for personal use, which means it is not a “rental investment property” as defined by the mortgage rider…and therefore negates the central claim of the indictment

NYT reports that Letitia James’s great niece lives in the home that is the subject of the indictment.

The niece reportedly testified before a *different* grand jury, telling them that she had lived there for many years without paying rent. James visits regularly.
