Oingo Boingo: Nothing To Fear: For their second album, Oingo Boingo provides a much more well, 80s sound to this album, but it's much more like what the Band does for most of their career to my knowledge.
The lyrics are still fun though, and honestly I consider Elfman's singing to be the highlight

Batman Superman Annual 1 (2013): I wish this was a full arc instead of a 38 page Annual! We see the son of Mongul come to earth wanting revenge by impolitely demanding Superman & Batman enter a tournament with 2 of their family! Great issue, but again, damn i wish we got more!

Batman Superman (2013) 5-7: I usually hate stories that have sideways artwork, like these did, and while I still consider it a pain in the ass to read (at least in a poorly bound TPB) the art here is nice and I enjoy the creative story here.

Batman Superman (2013) 1-4: I'm a big fan of the 2003 Superman Batman series, and consider stories like this to be great for new readers especially. I'm glad to say Greg Pak & Jae Lee did not disappoint here. While Lee's art is dark & gothic, it fits the story here, and Pak gets the characters right

Batman The Dark Knight Returns: Re-Read of this for probably god knows how many times before. I've been reading this since I was 13, and it somehow gets better with time. Miller's Batman is brutal & violent, but it's deeper than that thanks to masterful art, panel layouts, & commentary.

Action Comics Annual 2, Superboy 25, Supergirl 25, Superman 25: Look, i'll give Lobdell Superman credit where it's due, the art is good & the concepts are good. But the writing just provides no depth or strong character writing for said concepts. This being no exception.

Swamp Thing 1-2: About a year after HOS 92, Len Wein & Bernie Wrightson returned to Swamp Thing as a concept by creating a new, much larger story based around the tragic life of Alec Holland! Believe me when I say it's some of the best comics I've read, especially from the 70s

House of Secrets 92: Just in time for Halloween I've decided to read Swamp Thing for the first time, starting with the first appearance of a Swamp Thing! Although it is not the character Alec Holland portrayed here, the somber & spooky tone of the character is beautifully established here!

when none of these feelings ever got expressed to me directly. that's why it makes me so mad, I'm 23, the two of you are in your late 20s. It is not ok to be doing high school tier behavior like that by our ages. be mature and talk to people even if they do something to bother you

I took the time to apologize to one of you directly in my dms, trying to be civil, I do not take that apology back, I only wish I just kept my mouth shut more.
It hurts to see people who are close to close friends so openly talk bad about me without naming me in public.

I get that my actions made me seem like an ass who was willing & ready to argue at any point, that said, I think the actions on the either end sent the same message, and it says a lot to me that people left servers & muted me when I've done nothing to them other than have opinions.
