A new client told me the agency asked him to send a $50 deposit to book and he was so flabbergasted that this is a thing. It’s funny cuz a lot of nicer salons/aestheticians require this to book if you’re a new client. Maybe men aren’t used to doing this for services but welcome to girl world, boys 😂

Apart from some missing features, I do believe bluesky is the far superior platform and it isn’t just because right wing trolls/bots aren’t running amok on here. I really wish this site was way more popular amongst sw and our clients. I feel like I’m getting brain rot just by glancing at twitter 😣

I feel like bluesky as a platform makes me feel so much safer as a SW than any others. A lot of clients don't want to use it because they perceive it as "woke" (imagine using this term in a pejorative way). On one hand I wish more clients were seeking us here.. (🧵)
