So Danielle Smith, Premier of Alberta for the non- Canadians, wants to ban a lengthy list of books. That books include:1984 by George Orwell, The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood (a Canadian author), Brave New World by Aldous Huxley and Judy Blume for some reason.

Found out yesterday that summer travel plans have been finalized! The province we'll be traveling too is steeped in rich history and the primary setting of my cult centric WIP Crestfallen Lane. In my dystopian WIP The Hinterlands it is but a brief yet incredibly unique pitstop for Theo & Bas.

Guys, do your basic research into other systems of government across the world. It's exhausting to keep explaining the difference between a constitutional monarchy, an actual monarchy and whatever the f you want to call what you have going on in the US.

Watching the Liberal Leadership Convention and the Canadiana there is so refreshing and joyous. Yes, it's an election but everyone there seems to be proud Canadians first and foremost. Vive le Canada!
