I'm 24 years old. I have a mortgage and own my own home, and I have a full time job.

But under Cass' recommendations Levy, I wouldn't be trusted with hormones if he decides to consider it.

Shows how ridiculous it all is.

These new figures come in the wake of 2024's Cass Review of gender services for children, which recommended the creation of a 'follow-through service' for 17 to 25-year-olds. Cass said this would help "ensure continuity of care and support at a potentially vulnerable stage in a trans person's journey" and "allow clinical and research follow-up data to be collected". This sparked fears that access to healthcare, such as hormone replacement therapy (HRT) would be restricted or even banned for under-25s -

If EVERYTHING you think you know about trans people has been learnt from social and mainstream media over the past 10 years, and not an actual trans person, it's probably 80% garbage. Talk to a real trans person. Read a book published before 2015. We are anything but new, and We. Are. Going. Nowhere

ALL OUT AGAINST !!

All out against transphobia! On Saturday, November 1, TERFS intend to march in London, demanding trans exclusionary, discriminatory legislation, and threatening trans people on our streets.

We cannot let this happen unchallenged- they may have been emboldened by the Supreme Court Ruling, but so have we. Just a few days after ruling, we marched through Westminster to express our rage, be with community, and make it clear that we would continue to fight for trans liberation. That march was only the start.

We need as many people possible out again on the first of November, to show up for collective liberation and show the TERFS that they will never divide us. less

It's disgusting by the courts, all because a man felt shame.
Putting this young woman at risk in a male prison. It's sad to think nothing has been learnt since the Vikki Thompson case and 2 others at the same time.
And no learning from the inside gender identity report commissioned for HMPPS

Definitely agree with Natacha and Victoria on this one
Don't get me wrong, it was hard transitioning in 97 when I was 16.
And I was quite isolated, as the community wasn't what it is now 🏳️‍⚧️
But overall it was safer, I was just able to get on and live my life, even when people knew I was trans.
