Since 1975, this is only the 2nd time that the 2 seed is locked (PHI) but the 1 seed is still in play entering the final week. The only other time this occurred was in 1993 when SF was locked into the 2 seed and DAL/NYG were vying for the 1 seed. (DAL beat NYG 16-13 in Week 18 to clinch the 1 seed).
