Half of the apps outside of lichess/chesscom are uploading people's wedding photos and selfies without consent. I saw a portrait photo of a loving couple that was obviously taken from IG through Palantir's AI plastered directly into the app opponent ai bios. I just find them unethical.
I find microtransaction as finicky as I do subscriptions. The apps charge more than prestigious apps like chesscom. It is pretty dishonest practice to hike prices amidst the worldwide cost of living crisis. It is also equally unethical to use someone's personal photos without consent.
I am looking at the chess apps on Google play, and I am skeptical of around 80% of them. Lichess isn't doing so well on mobile and the alternatives aren't great. It's as if the apps act more like a slot machine than a genuine attempt at chess.

Formulating a life in grief(w/o Tarski World help).

1) A sorrowful life is more limiting than a normal life.
2) Beings can sometimes fall into a 'sorrowful' stage.
3) Those in perpetual sorrow should invoke responsibility contingent on their grief.

Well, it's a start. I'll work on this later.

I can't seem to share embed content from alternative video platforms (peertube and alugha) on bsky. It just shows a blank link. That's a shame, I wanted to share some knowledge.

Krasznahorkai’s novel “The Melancholy of Resistance” consists of just one sentence over more than 300 pages. -- He should have been a (German) philosopher. #philosophy
