thanks! I had some trouble finding inking brushes that felt right to me, too. It might be work cranking your DPI up (to 600) and seeing if that gives you the line quality you want, that's what I had to do

I usually use a random brush to sketch, but all my newer work was lined with Minke, Nightjar, or Lichen (all available free in the big brush update that just came out). The new brushsets are really great.
