Honestly as someone still representing those kids, it's depressing how everyone forgot about them. I say this a lot, but the lesson from those protests from the American left writ large was "if you protest and get arrested, you're on your own."

I rarely defend Americans, but we shouldn't forget that American GenZ started the student protests in 2023, were beaten to a pulp by police, got thrown out of school, lost scholarships, had their degrees revoked, etc. An Egyptian friend of mine joked "those kids were Arab Springed" Funny but true.

Sooo I had a blast at AFC2025 with Maebresal taking in the party atmosphere, seeing some amazing fursuits and admired artists!

Thankful to have a local fur con to go to! Totally planning to go next year- now as Anthro SoCal!
