Gotta be real, this winter has been hard. I have to help her up the stairs now and her arthritis has made it hard for her to be comfortable anywhere in the tundra we call our neighborhood. I can't shake that this might be our last winter together and it makes me cry every time.

I'm trying to pin down what signals a character made for the male gaze vs. the sapphic gaze. It might just be whether she's kind of a loser.

I don't know if it's that big. Warden just looks like he would be in the Night Watch and it snowballed from there. I'd absolutely read a Discworld novel about a hot mess werewolf that's trying to get her life together.

To be very clear, that lady in the NYT article is not making any money with her hundreds of AI slop books.
She makes money by *convincing people* she makes money that way and getting them to pay her to teach them how to do it.
It's an evolved MLM, and the NYT is helping market it.
