Adding my bluesky link to discord so it knows I'm over 30

I'm trying to pin down what signals a character made for the male gaze vs. the sapphic gaze. It might just be whether she's kind of a loser.

To be very clear, that lady in the NYT article is not making any money with her hundreds of AI slop books.

She makes money by *convincing people* she makes money that way and getting them to pay her to teach them how to do it.

It's an evolved MLM, and the NYT is helping market it.

Aliens is a very weird movie to watch with present day inflation. The human LinkedIn post keeps talking about "millions of dollars" like it's an otherworldly amount of money.

Mans would doom humanity for a nice condo.

Deadlock might have the hooks in me. There's something about the aesthetic of the game landing between Discworld and Hellboy that speaks to my soul. Almost all these characters would slot right in to Ankh-Morpork

Cancelled plans means lounging around the house bare faced and in jeans for the first time in ages. Feels really weird after wearing skirts and dresses almost exclusively for weeks!

I fear I'm moving into high femme territory...

I keep thinking about the prospect of a Stephen Kingiverse fighting game if only because an entire season of DLC where every character is Randall Flagg would be extremely funny.

My favorite artifact in the "you don't need AI to do art" discourse is, of course, screenwriter Dan O'Bannon's sketch of the facehugger to explain it to Giger.

In my wildest dreams I could never have imagined a more gratuitous sign that AI is a bubble than “chance the rapper, sponsored by coreweave.” It’s beautiful. It’ll be in a movie someday

Wow, y'all have sent some very good questions AND gave me a reason to redownload Arm Joe. Thank you for that.
Big news, I made an Alterspring. I had mentioned doing an AMA video to celebrate 50k subs. I'll be using these questions for it (provided there is enough interest.)

Regarding the Discourse, lemme just say that if you can't draw, yes you can.

Everyone can draw, and folks will almost certainly respond more positively to your stick figures than some generic "A.i." slop.

Also, there are LOADS of resources for free images. Like this! 🧵

From @acyn.bsky.social (posted on X)

"Reporter: Do any of you have a favorite animal?

Child: My favorite one is a gold snake that can move. It has gold eyes, and it has a super-duper tail…

Reporter: Mr. Mamdani, the second question for you.

Mamdani: Yes. It’s also the golden snake."

i think we all need to step back and realize that peak art was made when neolithic pot in the shape of a pig was fired

Building on the ancient scroll, I wonder if another mechanism is the nature of "yes and" feedback. It also makes me wonder if that same mechanism is at play for the onset of AI-fueled delusions. It could also help explain why some influencers seem like they live on a different planet.
