Not to mention they just taped the high school marks on turf fields so they often came up after the first few bands. They weren't replaced until intermissions.
Reminder that Bands of American nationals have THREE hash marks on the field - pro (because it’s in Indy), college (for Texas bands), and HS (for everyone else).
