It sucks my comics phase never amounted to anything in the end, but I did learn a ton from it. I think it's worth trying at least a 4-8 page comic if you want a whirlwind tour of new illustration skillsets

Honestly, I don't put effort in anymore. Not because I don't think things work (proper tagging on bsky goes a long way), but because the state of the web right now is so unstable I consider it a liability to try to min-max it

I think I'll round off the end of the year by wrapping up some unfinished projects & 2-3 more blogposts. 2 of them are art summaries, and I'm not sure if I'll do the 3rd one.

My dreams of doing art as a career is dead, & with the alarming direction the internet has taken I'm uneasy starting too many web-based projects.
