Finished my frog! Pretty happy with it for a first try at embroidery. I only had one detail thread that came loose so I glued it down on the back with a lil smudge of modpodge. Those French beans were the hardest part cause I couldn’t understand from the instructions so I had to hunt down a video.

I got 2 Mossery sketchbooks and some refills in today! I played with the mixed media paper one first and despite abusing the heck out of it with way too much water it did not wind up bleeding through at all. The paper buckled a bit but that doesn’t bug me much. Curious to see how the other goes!

I got some silly little cross stitch kits with frog themed embroidery to play with for crimmas so this is a WIP of what I got done in about an hour. People really aren’t kidding when they say this crafts is about having the patience to stab something a million times. 😂

This is an acrylic on a wooden canvas of a cute little hummingbird getting snackies! I love the bright colors on this one and adding texture with the acrylic gel pens was really satisfying!

This is the second acrylic painting on a wood slice I did for my boyfriend. I dunno why I was in such an orange mood for the background but I really wanted to make his cat look like some kind of cryptid. Mission accomplished.

lol I got pics of new mini paintings I did for gifts to post but I got distracted fixing one that had gotten something stuck to the varnish that I only noticed when I took a picture. It wasn’t even cat hair this time! I’ll try and post them soon!

I decorated a little tree I was given and painted on the ornaments so they look like eyes! I enjoy the tree looking a lil like a mimic. The Holiday Hellion at the top was made by #AceOfClay!
