The current (and only) GOP plan is throw everyone off health insurance while allowing private equity to buy up the care system - how is this worse? Where is the criticism that the party in power doesn’t have a solution that doesn’t cause millions of Americans to go broke or go without?
I hope the Dems realize that if they extend the ACA subsidies, and take no other steps, they are giving carte blanche to the biggest insurance companies and major hospital systems to find new ways to game the system and increase costs.

Damn shame that the Democrats just blew their best chance for a Senate seat in Texas. This is a primary where both candidates will end up smeared. Dems will do Reps' job for them. We all know it will be about black woman / white man - the identity politics which Texans HATE. Whoever wins will lose.

Row, row, row your boat ...
Life is but a dream.

Why is it that Republicans always feed us things like WMD in Iraq and drug smugglers in small boats in the Caribbean and discredit our military to do it?

Why don't we ever blame the addicts like Vance's mother who keep drug traffickers in business?

Of course, then she would have to run the department on her own which would be a major challenge.

So we finally have a Shadow Secretary of State. Unfortunately, it isn't a Democrat because they can't get their act together enough to give us an alternate point of view with one voice.
Instead, we have the Vance/Thiel/Musk version.
