Bit of feeling at the end of the match. The #Socceroos frustrated Canada in this game with some good defending. Izzo #MOTM for mine. A goal against the run of play from some great work by Toure finished off by Irankunda. #CANvAUS

IRANKUNDA! That's the definition of "Against the run of play" right there! #Socceroos #CANvAUS

Halfway through and Team #TawnyFrogmouth moves on. Remember to vote every day!

Some big names eliminated in the lasr round: the Eastern Whipbird, the Pied Butcherbird, the Pied Currawong, the Powerful Owl and I'm not telling it it's been knocked out, the
Southern Cassowary. Better luck next time!

Canada easily dominated the first half but couldn't convert. Izzo keeping well with some help at times but there's not a lot of go forward. Is that due to Canada's dominance not allowing the #Socceroos room or pushing enough? #CANvAUS

Looks like chances for the #Socceroos might be a little hard to come by, gotta take them when they're presented #CANvAUS

If Indiana Jones wasn't scared to punch a Nazi, should you be? You're tougher than a college professor.

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

Do not discount Aboriginal oral histories. They are often the only record of historical events like these, volcanoes and other major disruptions to life in Australia before colonisation, and can go back thousands of years with an accuracy that is unknown elsewhere.
