It's been a long day, left home a 7am to visit a customer south of Florence then back home in the evening. 8 hours in traffic, my back is sore. But my dog was waiting for me. 🥰

In the arms of the angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
& the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the angel

With all the rain the river's a little flooded, the fish hunting #birds went somewhere else for the day, only ducks and moorhens braving the wet cold weather. Even my dog stayed home. #photography I managed a fast hour walk anyway.

Cold and wet today, snow on the hills above 500m. The rain stopped for a quick late afternoon walk. Have a great Sunday! #photography

After lunch walk, it stopped raining for a bit. A few #birds about. A magpie, a preening mallard, egret in for the landing and a pretty chill heron along the river. Wishing you a great Saturday afternoon! #photography #birdoftheday

When I was in high school I did a constitutional debate program and witnessed this exchange:

JUDGE: what’s your favorite amendment?

KID: the third

JUDGE: why the third?

KID: because if there’s soldiers in your house, the other ones really don’t matter

Carney: "American hegemony in particular helped provide public goods, a stable financial system... this bargain no longer works. Let me be direct. We are in the midst of a rupture, not a transition... recently, great powers have begun using economic integration as a weapon. Tariffs as leverage ... "
