Like any system - certain characteristics indicate something is harmfully out of balance. Like a toxic algae bloom.

Billionaire are one of those indicators.

I assume there’ll be a crime scene tent outside Peter’s house presently with squads of coppers rifling through his stuff, all of it live on television. Because we already established that how we investigate political corruption in this country, isn’t it.

“one of this year’s big political themes: a long-festering sense of disconnection and fury reaching a new extreme, thanks to a government that seems strangely powerless to even begin to tackle it.”

Always a joy to read John’s perspective.

The Labour Together cartel on fine form. Dodge, avoid, obfuscate: protect the status quo, support the guilty if it serves them.

They are knee-deep in the swamp of it all. Active and willing participants to the destruction of their party and the welcoming of a fascist government.
BREAKING: “Lord Mandelson remains a member of the House of Lords taking the Labour whip. Given last nights revelations.. do you think he should be stripped of the Labour whip?”

They’re going in for the kill shot on Cuba.
The latest batch of Epstein emails looks horrifying.
The US is full of protests because ICE keeps killing people.

“You’d think all this evidence that we are ruled by deranged psychopaths would unite us against them, but it doesn’t. The population is more angrily, bitterly divided against itself than ever.”

So many sad little boys with their fragile egos and mummy issues - hidden behind a mask of cruelty, so no one can see how lost they are.

This isn’t just a fight for Gorton & Denton. It isn’t even just a fight between Greens and Reform.

It’s an ideological fight between a millionaire-backed, cynical power grab Vs community organising, collective power and a much needed revitalisation of what democracy should be.
Hundreds of people are already out campaigning in Gorton & Denton.

We vote on our candidate tonight.
Tomorrow, the real work begins.

An incredible time to be in the Green Party 💚

More cowardice.
More diet authoritarianism.
More Labour Together self-sabotage.

I’ve never seen so many own goals since Rishi Sunak, Liz Truss, Boris Johnson, Theresa May, David Cameron, Tony Blair or good old Maggie.

People. Planet. Hope.

The Greens have a huge opportunity to role model a new “united kingdom” - not through archaic, unequal power structures but through a common cause and the shared belief in a better world for all.

I’d vote for that.
I’m really glad that our members have chosen to strengthen the relationship with our friends in the @greenparty.org.uk

We are looking forward to working with @zackpolanski.bsky.social and others to elect a record number of Greens in Scotland, Wales and England in May! 💚

The Nazi SA - Sturmabteilung, or Storm Troopers - were often recruited from the dregs of society: barely literate failures incapable of holding down a job and only fit for murder and terror. The scum of Germany. Hitler gave them free rein to vent their rage on their betters. Sound familiar, America?

People are exhausted. People are angry. People are running to stand still.

It does not need to be like this. But it will be until we elect someone who puts people before profit, and society’s needs over shareholders.

It’s time for change. It’s time for hope.

Say after me: the issue is not the kids, the issue is zero accountability for the social media platforms.
'You can vote at 16 but can't use social media at 15 and 364 days' is not a coherent policy platform.
