I don’t usually care much for the flavoured pods in my Nespresso advent calendar. But “cinnamon and candied tamarind” for today, December 6 (happy SinterKlaas to our Dutch friends) is interesting. Very interesting

Sometimes I completely forget about the short-lived intermediary step with ATMs that dispensed DVDs. At least it was short-lived here, I wouldn’t be surprised if there were other countries (not just Japan) that had them longer
it is absolutely crazy to think that we used to rewind VHS tapes after watching and return them to a video rental shop. The amount of change we've seen in a couple decades is wild.
