Pisses me off that a lot of sci fi spacefaring rpgs (usually trying to be in the same vein as mass effect) that have come out recently don't understand the fundamental quality that made mass effect work (the ability to fuck aliens)

I like pairing up Ryuuga with friends' ocs but I don't do it often bc unfortunately he is a huge commitmentphobe and I feel bad being like yeah he would kiss and hug and have casual sex with someone but he probably would not be romantically involved with them. Which is nothing personal but 😭

I think Ryuuga and Haurchefant would've gotten together no matter what, but Sid and Ryuuga took a long time to even admit their feelings for each other because they were both grieving the loss of previous partners by the end of hw. If Ryuuga had met Sid right after Haurchefant died and not before--
#wolqotd Speaking on ships and when you knew when…. What if your ship met at another time in the timeline of your canon? Would they still end up together? Was it really just a perfect storm for how they’re together now or is it an always situation?

I think love is a beautiful experience to share. None of us own these characters we just all love them and I think that's wonderful and I love experiencing that love with others! I also think in a fandom as social and collaborative as ffxiv you're missing out big time if you can't "share" npcs
#wolqotd How do you feel about other people shipping things with your wolship/OCship of choice? Do you ignore it? Adore it? (Take anything you can get because your character is so minor they barely get anything at all so any content is a blessing?)

Ryuuga, being a dad himself, has a very parental relationship towards them. He's incredibly protective of them and does his best to shield them from the horrors of the world and the responsibilities that have been placed on them. They love him just as strongly in return
