Reading ‘Devil Soul’ (1973) which I got because it’s horror and by a gay author. Expected ‘coded’ characters, but there’s a gay relationship at the centre of the story, a pulpy retake of Devil Rides Out.

the type of analysis that doesn’t factor in how puritanical porn bans are part of -patriarchal control- as much as -revenge porn-, -CSAM greated by grok- and indeed -the sexualization of every female character- contributes more to fascism than asking why every female character needs to be sexualized
