We found the US is on track to have the fewest foreign food safety inspections since 2011, excluding pandemic years.
In recent years, the FDA has typically been able to conduct ~110 inspections each month, but in March, the number of inspections dropped almost in half.

i feel very silly to admit this lovely little toy has brought me much comfort these past days. She is a stuffy dog that i imagine looks as Charlotte did when Char was a puppy, a time from long before we met, a period of time that ended with my sweet girl abandoned a stray. ❤️🩹

when it came to me, Char did not share well with others. all i would need to do is direct my attention to one among the 100. if the one was Char, she'd jump into my arms. if the one were not, Char would jump in the way of the interloper
