Can someone dilute me into a buffer with the appropriate ionic strength for me and a gentle suitable pH so I don’t crash out of solution? Thanks

At first I thought I didn’t need to write about Yesinia species in this review but nope I guess the plague is happening still

Today's lecture was on ovarian follicle development. Very nice as well to hear that the lab does public engagement studies to see what people want out of reproductive research/technologies.

NSF GRFP results are out, I didn’t expect them to actually get processed—so I was decently pleased at getting honorable mention. Better than what I got the first time I applied. And congrats to everyone who did get it!

Still, only 1000 were awarded. Shows how rough the funding situation is.

My PhD will not be in internet communications but if it was, I’d have a whole chapter on what people making memes about big news events signifies about humor, community, helplessness vs hope, etc.

Just the other day I was trying to tell someone that I would rather write/edit my paper myself instead of using ch@t gpt—sure it can make prose sound more professional, but what matters is making sure the words are communicating *exactly* what I want to say.
"Your job is to have ideas and spread them so that they impact other people’s work. Writing is your job. Nothing else. Therefore, everything else that you do is subservient to the activity of writing. Let this revolution take place in your mind."

Scattered thoughts from #bps2025: it was very big and overwhelming for my first conference ever, but it highlighted the worldwide reach of the biophysics community. Jet-lagged scientists giving or attending talks at 8:15am are passionate about sharing research!
