Altered Altoid tin shrine - Shrine of the Forgotten. Imagine you were walking in the forest one day and something unusual caught your eye. You bend down to pick it up, and this is what you found, a shrine to a forgotten god. #art #ArtAdventCalendar
Altered Altoid tin pocket shrine. Filled with a frame and handmade moon face to represent the forgotten god with an alter with mushrooms, crystals, candles, and a little pair of glasses. Under the alter are more mushrooms and an amphora style pot. Everything is distressed to look ancient with moss included to represent overgrowth of the forgotten. All handmade. The outside of the altered Altoid tin. It has been painted, textured, and aged to look like it was lying on the forest floor for years. Small Altoid tin resting, half open on my right hand

Small stack of foam pumpkins, 3 tall, each pumpkin is only 1” tall. Wrapped in painted black gauze and the top pumpkin has a painted jack o’lantern face. Being held over a work table by some severely painted fingers Miniature configuration box featuring the stacked pumpkins as well as an assortment of other handmade and found objects. Overall a haunted house, spooky vibe. The mixed media art features 5 different compartments with different spooky items including skulls, bones, spiders, creepy dolls and other Halloween themed items

Pocket shrine in an altoid tin. Tin is artificially weathered, made to look old, rusty and covered in moss like it’s been in the forest for centuries. Inside the tin are many moon faces, meant to symbolize many different gods.

True love is your husband looking up the next book in your series and offering to buy it for you because you’re sad you don’t have it, and then just saying how about I get the rest of the series. And then getting worried because he can only find books 3-7 because book 8 isn’t out. I feel so loved. ❤️

I did a thing this weekend which was great and terrible. I emptied all my books off the it various bookcases, stickered all my TBR books, sorted them ALL alphabetically, purged books, and loaded them back onto the bookcase. I started Saturday afternoon and finished adding books to to shelves at 2AM

Enjoy this pumpkin I carved a few years back that I’m super proud of. #Halloween
Carved pumpkin in the dark featuring a welder that is carved with the pumpkin skin off and black ink over the welder’s clothes and lines of the drawing. Where the welder sparks, the pumpkin is cut all the way through, showing a brighter light than the welder.

Perimenopause is hell, but I’m glad to have it confirmed because now it can be treated. I’m so tired of the emotional rollercoaster, the sadness, and the feeling of being done. I’m looking forward to a little normalcy and happiness. #perimenopause

My birthday falls on Thanksgiving this month and I refuse to have turkey dinner for my bday again - way too many growing up. However, husband loves thanksgiving and it’s his birthday today so I ordered a turkey dinner for the weekend for him for his bday. He was very happy with his bday gift 😂

I wish I got a picture of the moon this morning. Venus was hanging out with it, and the moon was just a sliver. The planet was brighter than the moon and it was so pretty!
