it was one of their biggest successes.

doge wasn't trying to cut waste, fraud, and abuse. it was trying to destroy careers, scientific research, and aid programs.

it was phenomenally successful at those things.
DOGE is one of the greatest failures of the Trump administration. The next Democratic administration should pick up that issue and actually work to cut government waste, fraud, and abuse. I’d suggest starting by taking a look at Elon Musk’s government contracts.

Socialism is simply tax payer dollars going toward communities and programs that help people instead of the same money going toward rich corporations and billionaires.
The House of Representatives voted 285–98 in favor of a resolution condemning socialism.

86 Dems joined Republicans in supporting the measure, incl. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.

Just to review, in the last week the President of the United States:

- Refused to condemn the rise of Neo-Nazis in his party
- Tried to block the release of further evidence he sexually abused children
- Encouraged the execution of Congressional Democrats

Those are just factual statements.

These 20 House Democrats just joined Republicans in voting to fully repeal DC's police reform laws.

Wiping off the books critical laws on use of force, transparency, and preventing violent cops from getting rehired.

They think that they should have more say over DC police than the people of DC.

I have been boycotting Target since they decided to be hostile to diversity. I think there are a lot of us, and they should definitely drop the MAGA anti-DEI obnoxiousness.

Abundance bookseller Ezra Klein then published a column assuring liberals that Jeffrey Epstein kept his powerful friends separate from Epstein's rape network.

Wilson took a 1,976-vote lead over Bruce Harrell. With a maximum of 1,320 ballots remaining, it is mathematically impossible for Harrell to catch up.

The Supreme Court decided to keep SNAP payments on hold.

Democrats caved on ACA subsidies in part to give SNAP benefits to people and instead, they will get neither.

Democrats caved again. Right after the electorate handed them massive wins across the country.

2026 is the year for progressives. Centrist politicians share the same billionaire donor base as MAGA.

Therefore, Centrists will always listen to billionaires over voters. Vote them out. No more excuses.

If Democrats reopen the government for a whisper of a promise to hold a vote on ACA subsidies, then the shutdown was pointless in the first place.
