But now you should buy some new demonstrator pens so you can show all your new inks!

I do plan to go to the London Pen Show tomorrow.

I tell myself it's to take photos of gorgeous fountain pens and admire ink samples and I won't be buying anything because I have lots of nice things already thank you.

...

Even the cat laughed at me.

The Plaisir are very nice! They are a good alternative to Pilot Metropolitan or Lamy Al Star…

Fountain pen of the day:

This a Jinhao 92, a pen in gold and red metal. It’s a little heavy, but quite affordable and reliable. It also have versions in chrome, all black, and black/chrome.
Jinhao 92 fountain pen in red and gold metal, the red part had a rhombic design. The same pen, uncapped with a two tone steel fine nib. The pen posts, but becomes a little too heavy to be comfortable.

And those are the jobs that could be easily be substituted by AI to really cut costs!

Wonder why instead AI is used to cut other jobs…

La V-301 es bastante buena, lástima que no tiene convertidor, aunque suelo rellenarla con una jeringa…

Fountain pen of the day:

From my Ranga collection, the model 4 pen. This is a nice piece, in cream and orange ebonite. Very big but light, and with the quality of this artesanal Indian brand.
The Ranga model 4 fountain pen. It’s a cylindrical pen in a big and thick size, made with cream and orange ebonite, with conical ends, and a matte golden clip with the brand name. The same pen, uncapped with a golden steel Jowo fine nib. The pen safely posts, but it becomes too big.

Anything to save a couple of bucks in people’s wages or welfare…

Yeah…It was years after I bought my first fountain pen the first time I heard about this annoying trend of “oh, I would love a fountain pen, but I’m left handed!”

What? The ink dries almost immediately and they are very comfortable to use!

There’s a novel by a famous Portuguese author, Jose Saramago, “Death with interruptions” about the same premise…

See, America? It’s much better that a family goes bankrupt because of medical costs… but in Europe nobody thinks about the poor billionaires, unlike you.

Fountain pen of the day (vintage):

Recently, I got an old Pelikan. It’s a good pen, although younger than I expected. The M481, an economical prelude to the M200 from 1983. Curiously, it has no pelican in the cap, unless you unscrew the top. I also expected the “W-Germany” in the ring, but no luck.
The Pelikan M481 fountain pen, in green plastic with black cap and the blind cap. It has a golden clip with the traditional Pelikan head, and a cap band with the brand and country engraved. The same pen, uncapped with a gold plated fine nib, black plastic section and an ink window (with Kaweko Palm Green). A curious detail of this line is that unlike the majority of Pelikan pens, this doesn’t have the Pelican and her hatchlings in the finial, but if you unscrew it, you can see the pelican inside…

Those are pretty. And although I sometimes don’t like that you only make some models in ballpoint, other times, I thank you from the bottom of my wallet…
