I use any ink and pen, you just have to adjust the position of the paper you’re writing, so your hand rests over the line you’re writing in, so the ink dries before your hand pases over it.

Esta la conseguí a un precio bastante bueno en Amazon. A veces funciona. Por desgracia, en mi tienda física de confianza, en Ciudad de México, no manejan la marca y en la tienda en línea donde acostumbro comprar, estaba demasiado cara, sumando el costo de envío…

Perhaps it has to do more with the ink than the pen itself. I use a mix of J. Herbin 2/3 Gris Nuage and 1/3 Perle Noir, for a darker tone of gray and it’s very smooth.

I have many Sailor, with different outcomes, including a Tuzu. Sailor nibs have feedback, meaning that they tend to be scratchy over the paper. Their Shikiori line with steel nibs is the worst. Their 21k nibs are smoother. The Tuzu is also a smooth pen, with good feeling.

There are many good choices for a beginner pen, mainly from Germany, China and Japan, but overall, you have the best.*

I can see why some people are attracted to use AI as a tool. But I think it also is a lousy replacement for natural intelligence or talent.

A Lamy Al Star is a good choice to begin. Lamy inks can be a little on the dry side. That’s why Lamy nibs have a tendency to be more wet than other brands. You can try it to see if you like fountain pens…
