adding alt text is good for accessibility and giving context and having people go "lol the alt text " if you do it good
Artists, if you're able to add alt text to your images, do it. Your benefits:
• Your work is accessible to more people.
• You give context to your work and can textually highlight what is important to you.
• You can mention your OC's name! I love this one.

I am thinking a lot about a statement today and I think it's worthwhile to talk about why I alt text/don't repost stuff that doesn't have alt text, and how I landed here with it.
I have always thought that if people just KNEW they'd try to do something to impact this.

I am starting a studio! We are small and scrappy and have no money. Why am I doing this? Because the only ones who can protect art are the ones who value it. Disney using AI? Yuck. Netflix buying WB? Also yuck. In 10 years what is even going to be left.

cutting shows post prod especially is so dumb, do they not realize the people crave a media renaissance?? Have more than one show overtake a news cycle at a time man it has happened before! competition breeds better media!! amazing things have not stopped being made but give em some marketing!

oddly underwhelmed by my wisdom teeth removal, I thought they'd be bigger than that but apparently they are relatively big so I'll take it. Also didn't do anything odd after waking up from anesthesia, contrary to like every piece of media with teeth extraction. slightly ripped off but in a chill way

Went to the national shell museum in Sanibel FL- the exhibits were so solid! Learned a ton about mollusks but took basically zero pics- I always feel like I get distracted if I do. They have every shell u can imagine from scallops to nautilus! I liked the parts on shells in human culture a lot too
