Nothing like working a 12hr midnight then going home to sleep for 3 hours before getting up and plowing out the snow. Heading back into work for an afternoon shift and then trying to fall back asleep before your 5am alarm for a 12hr day shift tomorrow. #shiftwork #papermill

Well the Surface Linux adventure has crashed to a halt. Currently selling the Surface Pro 4 I was using as it started to develop a screen glitch. Put a few older computers I had laying around on eBay. Then I'll get a new one as I like the experience. #linux #surface #geek

Well that upgrade to #Fedora 43 isn't going so well. Seems to have messed up the display and pen drivers. So no journal today as I'm going back to 42 and the proper Surface Linux Kernel. We'll see if that fixes things or if this screen is finally acting up. #linux #surface

I've pretty much got the Surface Pro 4 all set up the way I like it. Upgraded to Fedora 43 today. The only problem is that the Surface Linux Kernel hasn't been updated yet, so I'm running the latest 42 version to access all the features. Journal post coming later tonight. #linux #fedora #desktop
