Hello, yes I am a freelance web designer and developer with over 20 years experience. I like art and photography and books and I'm neurodivergent. But perhaps the most important thing to know is that I have a tattoo of Mr Blobby in my armpit.
I have a playlist of 40 different piano versions of the Interstellar theme for when I have to do boring repetitive things like content entry.

For starting a task, A Punch Up at a Wedding is my magic bullet but I try not to overuse it.

Sometimes I have comfort TV on at the same time as music 😅

I had to do an email like that the other day and seriously lamented my lack of personal assistant 🫠 Well done for doing the thing!!

I’m struggling to even start a task today so you’re both doing better than me!

The answer to the question for me though is music. The right music can trigger hyperfocus and act as a tether. Really varies what works though.

We all know that person, who does the invisible work, who quietly coordinates and holds projects together. They sadly rarely get credit for it though. It’s hard to measure, and often overlooked. We need to find leaders who can see and reward this invisible work.
The Invisible Work
The coordination work that holds projects together disappears the moment it works. On the unfairness of recognition and finding leaders who see it anyway.

I’m blaming the fact that I’m sleep deprived. Overthought it. Good one though!

My friend and I are testing pasta brands at the moment, based on a slightly obsessive Reddit thread. Friend has just found this new pasta obsessive Reddit thread and I am so here for it, although I do like farfalle 😂 www.reddit.com/r/Cooking/co...

Are you in my brain? I was literally googling this this morning and then got distracted after reading MDN and it's big warning to use it sparingly.

I promised myself I’d take regular time off this year, today is one of the days. All I’ve done is read about CSS and eat crisps.

Dreamweaver, is that you?
I made this "ad" for one of Cursor's recent features.

It finally solves the terrible problem of knowing CSS.
