Back to the day job today. This was my 8th surgery in 5 years. I feel like it takes me a little longer each time to bounce back.

Exciting news! My novel Plague Birds, which was a finalist for the Nebula & Philip K. Dick Awards, will be rereleased by Apex Books @apexmag.bsky.social in an new edition with extra content in June 2026. And a sequel will be published by Apex in Oct. 2026. 1/

Finished reading Jason Pargin’s I’m Starting to worry About This Black Box of Doom. The book showcases the author’s best talents: creating fun characters and having those characters go on lengthy rants.

Solid read. Would recommend.
