What do we elect people for if not to defend us at this time.
Federal agents killed Alex Pretti in Minneapolis this morning. He was a 37-year-old ICU nurse who spent his career keeping people alive — including at the VA.

Thank you! There is nothing subjective here this is a federal execution on the street.
Why do media companies print obvious lies from the propagandists in the Trump admin as if that is the “other side” of the story when you have objective, irrefutable evidence to disprove it? Traditional norms/practices don’t work with this regime. Why do you spread their lies?

It seems weird posting a review for a movie that made me smile last night, when our government is executing nurses in the street. but my boy Issa was right this is a fun movie. might help to stop doom scrolling.
A ★★★★ review of Good Fortune (2025)
Really enjoyed this comedy that is wrapped a pretty heavy handed message. I enjoyed the sarcastic tone. Reeves really carried the movie for me.

Minnesota State officials (BCA) had a SIGNED warrant from an independent judge to investigate the shooting. DHS DENIED them access to the scene and said they would investigate themselves.

This is unconstitutional and any conclusion DHS comes to can’t be trusted.
Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Superintendent Drew Evans says his team arrived on the scene of the shooting to conduct an independent investigation and "were blocked by federal agents with the Department of Homeland Security."

Man, I bet the NRA is going to be furious when they hear that jack-booted thugs from the federal government executed a law-abiding citizen for exercising his Second Amendment right to carry a handgun.

Any second now, I'm sure.

He was a white guy, if that helps?

Hello? NRA?

My first read of the year - a fantastic start. This novel, set on Mars is almost more of a tribute to Charles Portis than to Ray Bradbury, but those looking for loving tribute to Westerns or Golden age sci-fi start here!

I had fun watching this. I don't have much to say besides enjoying myself. Holt's Lex Luther was pretty perfect.

A ★★★★ review of Superman (2025)
Finally watched Gunn's Superman. I enjoyed it for sure, Holt's Lex Luther was pretty perfect. I liked how silly and comic book it felt. if that is the new tone I am pretty happy with that.

I was curious as I liked Tales of the Loop, and I thought it was so strange that Netflix spent so much, it has this crazy cast and I have not heard one person mention watching it. It has a few moments I enjoyed, interesting designs. but I hate when movies do oppressed robots, emo machines. GTFO.

WELKER: Do you bear any responsibility to bring down the temperature?

FREY: Of course. But I dropped an F bomb and they killed somebody. I think the killing somebody is the inflammatory element here and not the F bomb.
