Forcing Ukraine to cede Crimea (and all of the Donbas?) is appeasement. Same as it's always been.

Opinion | Trump’s Russia Policy Is Appeasement
Like Chamberlain in the 1930s, he sees Ukraine as a faraway quarrel to avoid. This won’t bring peace or stop Putin.

Canada, UK and France say that if Israel doesn’t halt its renewed offensive and restore aid to Gaza, ‘we will take further concrete actions in response. We oppose any attempt to expand settlements in the West Bank … We will not hesitate to take further action, including targeted sanctions.’

Was doing this anyway, but still shocking to see it officially in writing.

Fact is US is unreliable. It is alligning with Russia and other dictatorships and actively musing about annexing Canada. I don’t see this as a value judgment.

Agreed. This stupid back and forth is exhausting and a massive waste of time. But as you can see, I am at the “burn it all” phase and getting pretty pissed off at US behaviour 🤣.

We are not cancelling it… yet. Seems US wants to renegotiate everything… this is everything. Communicating uncertainty is very good. I would do this for the next two weeks… everytime they mention 51st state.

Hard disagree… I was always a supporter of F35, but you need to account for new information. US is unreliable or downright a national security threat. We need to assess this new developments and adjust. Staying the course is just wishful thinking.

This is about signaling. Good Stratcom… signal some idea, let Lockheed freak out and call Trump. Only way to change WH behaviour is through US.

Beyond the political dimension, the F35 could become another extorsion raquet. Do we trust the US to provide the upgrades or not remote/kill our planes?
