It is generally counterproductive to any negotiation if you tell the other party that caving to your demands would be worse for them than opposing your demands.

Damning, but accurate, take on the Roberts Court and Originalism. Yes, the entire opinion is well worth reading.
Check out Justice Eddins’ complete repudiation of the Roberts Court here. It’s worth reading in full. It’s quite brave—and exceedingly rare—for a sitting judge to speak so candidly and scathingly about SCOTUS’ partisan contortions of law, history, and fact.

The fabulist in chief "issued executive orders in March stating that he wants to shape the narrative of U.S. history in curriculum and museums to avoid 'a sense of national shame.'"

Or, he fears history will be unkind to him, so history must be purged too.

These historians oversee unbiased accounts of U.S. foreign policy. Trump fired them all.
An advisory committee of historians helps ensure the record of America’s history remains unbiased, transparent and thorough. Trump just fired the entire panel.

It is time that judges cease presuming good faith basis for the executive branch's actions out of misguided respect for the office itself, and instead recognize the puny man occupying that office. (But...maybe lay off the exclamation points when doing so.) storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

After this admin is out, ICE needs to be leashed at least to the level of other LE agemcies. No unidentified agents in plainclothes, unless undercover. No more raids on homes or seizing of personal property without an actual court-issued (not administrative) warrant, and receipt of property seized.
Please highlight this story.

ICE stormed into the wrong house, trashed the place, and made women/girls stand outside in the rain in their underwear. ICE also stole phones, laptops, and cash savings from the family, who moved to OKC two weeks ago.
