When will it be enough for the voters to have their faces spat in by Mike Johnson and the MAGA extremists in Congress? When?!?!
And there it is...

Announcement is made that the US House will be out of session again next week

They haven't voted since mid-September

Remember: The richest 1% evade over $160 billion in taxes every year.

That amount would fund SNAP for a year with money to spare.

Ask yourself who the real freeloaders are.

Republicans control the House.
Republicans control the Senate.
Republicans control the White House.

They could do something to lower Americans’ health care costs now, but they’re CHOOSING not to.

New from 404 Media: you can't refuse to be scanned by ICE's new facial recognition app, according to internal DHS document I obtained. Photos captured by the app are stored for 15 years, including U.S. citizens. We've seen officers scanning faces w/ phones on streets

WTAF! Opening fire with kids in the car!

If this isn’t grounds for termination, nothing will be!
I’m not sure angry is quite harsh enough to describe my feelings on this.
FL is moving forward w/ plan to end all childhood vaccine mandates. Starting with hepatitis B, chickenpox, and the bacteria causing meningitis and pneumonia. Then next year GOP FL legislature is expected to revisit 1977 law re: whooping cough, measles, polio, rubella, mumps, diphtheria, and tetanus.
This is the energy that is required of all people in this country. They answer to US. Period.
I write my Republican congressman every week or so…

New Fiserv CEO slams Bisignano: "Over the last few years, decisions to defer certain investments and cut certain costs improve margins in the short term, but are now limiting our ability to serve clients in a world-class way..."

Sounds a lot like what he's doing to our Social Security system.
Frank Bisignano, the former chief executive of the global payments and financial-technology company Fiserv, was forced to sell his stake in the company to join the Trump administration as head of the Social Security Administration.
A Top Trump Official Had to Sell His Stock. He May Have Saved Millions.
Frank Bisignano, who holds top jobs at the Social Security Administration and the I.R.S., sold his stake in Fiserv before the company’s stock cratered this week.

I detest bill maher. I have wondered the same though. Some may think it’s okay to say it’s someone else’s turn to show up to protest this regime and fight, but it’s so wrongheaded.
Because black people already did their time. They bled for civil rights for everyone who is not a white male and who enjoys rights they did not have before 1964. They also voted in higher percentages for Harris, more than any other group, so Bill Maher can smoke a joint, get high and STFU. 🤨
I’m sorry, but the “did their time” shit, is NOT the exact response one should have when democracy is gasping for breath.

NEW: Court filings reveal that states using the Trump administration’s untested citizenship verification system to purge voter rolls may be mistakenly flagging eligible voters at an alarming rate, risking the chance of voters being disenfranchised.

Leaked document. Yikes, things are about to get much worse. It looks like we’re on the verge of becoming a military state across the country. Step out of line, and the man come and take you away.

Amazon is helping fund a $300 million build of a ballroom for the White House.

Independent bookstores are donating to food banks and organizations that help with food insecurity.

They are not the same.

California – this Election Day, vote yes on Prop 50.

California’s Prop 50 says that if Republicans are going to abuse the system to try and hang onto power, we’re going to counteract that abuse and create a level playing field in the midterm elections.

Make a plan to vote yes on Prop 50.

Democrats and the majority must come up with a plan NOW on what to do when, not if, Trump and Stephen Miller go for martial law.

People still aren't paying attention. Take them literally and seriously, folks.

She's a politician, running for Congress in Illinois. She attended a protest against ICE. ICE brutalized her, tear gassed her, body slammed her to the ground.

And now *she's* been arrested for 'hindering' ICE. She faces eight years in prison.

This is fascism.
