Schumer and his Senate Democratic cacus want to make sure ICE kidnaps 5 year olds "the right way"
"Pardon me, I will now respectfully kidnap your five year old. Please forgive the intrusion and have a blessed day."
This is 🤡 stuff from Schumer/Sen Dems.

ICE already appears to have a "code of conduct" that suggests they need to be "professional, polite, respectful, considerate, helpful, and patient in all official activities ... even in the face of considerable provocation." www.ice.gov/doclib/foia/...

My therapist shocked that I met my insurance deductible less than one month into 2026 but also I have a bill sitting on my desk for $1800 for a pro kera contact placement from November and like, that's why lol. Like it was the eye surgery, girlie. It's expensive to have eyes!!

The people who'll tell you today's murder victim in Minnesota shouldn't have turned up to a protest carrying a gun are the same people who said Kyle Rittenhouse was perfectly entitled to do the same thing.

When liberal politicians frame ICE bloodthirst as a training problem, they are continuing a broader historical pattern wherein righteous political unrest is used to justify increases in police capacity.

I just want to remind everyone that Republicans polled no one when getting rid of USAID or the Department of Education both of which had been around scores longer than ICE.
Wow — New YouGov / Economist poll:

46% support abolishing ICE
43% oppose abolishing ICE

This is the first time that abolishing ICE has received net positive support

From a good friend in Minneapolis: "Target is allowing ICE to stage in their parking lots, use their restrooms, and abduct people from inside their stores - so if you weren’t boycotting already, now is the time." They were staging in Chicago as well.

Some one I know has photos of ICE at the Minneapolis protests this morning out filming the protestors. If you’re out today, make sure to follow steps to protect yourself from identification where possible.

Stop calling it war. These are terrorist attacks being committed by the US government. Every foreign nation should be lining up sanctions.

Sounds suspiciously like something ai slop would say
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella says people should move beyond calling AI 'slop'

"We need to get beyond the arguments of slop vs sophistication and develop a new equilibrium ... that accounts for humans being equipped with these new cognitive amplifier tools as we relate to each other"

By the way, Gavin Newsom is apparently raising money to fight AGAINST the billionaire tax. So thoughtful of him to come to their aid at this particular time in history,

AI conversations always end up being Some Guy™️ trying to justify using it but really just admitting that they didn't know there was already a process in place for these things they just weren't privy to it because it wasn't their job
"they don't know how to express the idea" here's rian johnson's storyboard for knives out

*gets on soapbox* AI is incapable of giving "new ideas" because it's trained on things that already exist. It is only capable of regurgitating what already is, just repackaged slightly differently to suit whatever prompt it is given.

America, you have spoken loud and clear: You do not like AI. But what if AI is the way to restart the world’s idea machine?
We’re running out of good ideas. AI might be how we find new ones.
What if the best use of AI is restarting the world’s idea machine?

The Democrats are NOT going to reverse any of this.

They didnt reverse Guantanamo Bay.
They didn’t reverse the PATRIOT Act.
They didnt reverse Citizens United.
They didnt reverse ICE camps.
They didnt reverse the COVID funding guts.

Nothing changes or stops with them in power

I mean, if this is the bet they're making they're probably correct, unfortunately
Do they just think there'll never be enough of a backlash for court packing to happen? What is the political theory of the case?
