Unbelievable. This would be a terrible blow to American science, writ large. It would decimate not only climate research, but also the kind of weather, wildfire, and disaster research that has underpinned half a century of progress in prediction, early warning, and increased resilience.
Exclusive: The Trump administration is moving to dismantle the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado, according to a senior White House official, taking aim at one of the world's leading climate research labs.

It is international law 101 that a military blockade is not just a violation of the UN Charter, but a crime of aggression.

Unless that blockade is in response to an 'armed attack.'

None of President's Trump's list of complaints come close to an armed attack.

As Trump announces a blockade of “all sanctioned oil tankers”….
Seizing oil tankers is more legally defensible than blowing up speedboats. But that doesn't make it a good idea. Trump's attack on the Venezuelan economy is liable to backfire by exacerbating the very problems--migrants and drugs--he cites as justification. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/202...

Like most Republicans these days, it's Wiles who is suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome. A person with a basic sense of morality and decency would simply walk away from such a deranged person and the party that enables him. It's not that hard. Many have done so. Susie has chosen not to.

If you give multiple interviews to Vanity Fair and don’t know whether or not you are on or off the record - then you are not qualified to be a chief of staff.

Speaking as a chief of staff.
CNN suggests Susie Wiles might not have known she was on the record 😆

There's a ballot initiative effort underway in MA to adopt a CA-style Top Two system. I'm generally in favor of all-of-the-above experimentation on electoral reform. But Top Two is, I'm afraid, the one kind that's a proven failure at delivering any of the claimed benefits, and has major downsides.
