Someone was abducted at 10 AM by ICE on Central Ave. Their coworker says they’ve lived here for over 20 years, are documented, and have 3 kids who were born here.

Don’t be fooled by headlines when they’ve been lying to us the whole time. We still need you out patrolling until every agent is gone.

Today’s #BirdOfTheDay theme is #Birds&Bugs and the alt theme is #EverydayBirds so I reckon this one ticks both boxes.

Often seen foraging on the ground, breaking into anthills or feeding on other insects. This one was taking advantage of the freshly unfrozen banks of the Morava River today.

Decades of bipartisan policy, including financial deregulation, endless war, bank bailouts, surveillance expansion, and attacks on labor, are evidence that both parties serve the interests of capital rather than the population.

in fact you do not have to show your ID when you board a train in the united states, you only need to show your ticket (which can be purchased without an ID)
Markwayne Mullin defends "show me your papers": "If you're here legally, there's nothing to hide. Most people already are walking around with a government-issued ID, meaning your Real ID or your driver's license. If you go board a train here, you gotta show your ID."

look i really think we all need much more humility

leftists can admit that we’ve (at times) been antisocial assholes whose methods of persuasion and/or politics have been counter-productive/off-putting/etc

and center-left folks can admit that the System is indelibly broken and Norms Won’t Save Us
