I was at a fundraising event in LA just last night for @ericswalwell.bsky.social. Then, he hops on a red eye and, mere hours later, is grilling the Acting Director of ICE on Capitol Hill.

So incredibly impressed with him. He would make an outstanding Governor for California.

It’s not a mistake that he keeps mentioning inaugurations whenever he talks about the ballroom. Be very afraid for 2028 and 2029. The Republican executive branch does not intend to leave peacefully.

As a separate matter, the scope of this coverup—which we know from major-media reporting was orchestrated by Trump (who oversaw the DOJ and FBI handling of the Files)—is beyond anything U.S. politics has ever seen, and should lead to Trump's immediate removal from the presidency.

This administration is a criminal administration.
Rep. Kennedy: "Do you believe your agency has a legal obligation to follow court orders?"

ICE Director Lyons: "Yes."

Rep. Kennedy: "You have a very strange way of showing it, with a federal judge finding that your agency is in violation of 96 orders in one month alone."

Point of order: LANGUAGE 🚨

One does not “have sex with children”, with implies consent.

THESE CHILDREN WERE TRAFFICKED AND RAPED, TORTURED, MURDERED AND OTHERWISE ABUSED.

Stop saying “had sex with minors”.

Now that members of Congress are able to see what was redacted they are learning how Todd Blanche failed to comply with the law in countless instances, and it’s now about to get real because what DOJ was hiding is the most incriminating stuff.

Yeah the right wing of the country got way more openly racist and the secret police have been emboldened to tear gas random children whenever they feel like but at least the labor market is terrible and we'll all be poorer forever

Yeah, he wasn't blackmailing his rich contacts. They went to his island parties where teenage girls were sexually exploited because they either were into it or didn't care
Last week the far right started peddling a narrative that the outrage over Epstein is a moral panic. Today, like clockwork, a more polite version of that narrative appears in the Atlantic.
