Thanks to a post on iNaturalist, and a series of serendipitous events, an Australian flowering plant thought extinct for almost 60 years has been rediscovered.

And here's the view at Tickencote, Rutland, from the chancel looking back west through the chancel arch. Not so elaborate on this side, but the springing for the vaulting above is also 12th Century, possibly as early as 1120.

A rich and complex stout with plenty of body packed full of flavour, with hints of chocolate and coffee. The hops bring a touch of bitterness while the oats used give this stout a silky smooth finish
