I swear I've read about Gainax being officially dead at least once annually for the last 10 years, but in case this is truly finally it, I think back to the obituary I wrote for them in 2024. Truly, there was no studio like Gainax, and there never will be again.

This came in the mail today. I imagine this is the complimentary shirt Yachiyo gives you when an alien guest accidentally destroys your luggage and you have nothing else to wear.

Putting aside the results of the Crunchyroll Anime Awards, I think it’s weird how they seem to be doing them later and later in the year. You can’t do an annual award show later than maybe March, we’re almost halfway through 2025 now. No one cares about 2024.

Initially feelings on HSR 3.3 story: it would be great if any of it sticks past next update, but we all know it’s not. Sick boss fight though, the best one since Cocolia.

Thinking about the latest HSR story and getting this in writing just in case: what if the Flame Chase is actually creating heroes for a grail war and that’s how they tie in the Fate collab. It’s a big stretch but I can’t rule it out.
