Brigid’s Hope: my fairy house for @adkinsarboretum.bsky.social Fairyfest. Pink petals in remembrance of my friend &hearth tender, Hope Anne. A bird’s nest for my Uncle Francis, an avid birder who made birding trails at the Maust Memorial and maintained the birdhouses. Weaving mourning into beauty.

Fairy house: Brigid’s Hope
St. Brigid: tender of the hearth, hope, poetry

My friend Hope Anne: A safe & comforting tender of the hearth for many of us survivors. The name & pink are in remembrance of her. 💕

The fairy house starting to take more shape with a round grape vine house surrounded by dried flowers, leaves with decorative cut outs, pine cones, pine needles. A bright, shiny open agate brings the ‘fire.’

Understand. Never liked the flat, flat Kansas. However, I’d much rather be at the PA line than southern Delaware - although, Rehoboth has a thriving arts community! The poets are my favorite Rehoboth aspect. lol
