After Charlie Kirk’s assassination, NH Journal invited every NH Democrat to join their podcast and talk. Out of hundreds, I was the only one who said yes.

It wasn’t about agreement, but about showing up. We can’t rebuild trust if we only talk to people who already agree with us.

As your State Rep, I support the Portsmouth School Board’s decision to explore expanding New Franklin School.
Students are learning in hallways and makeshift spaces because the building no longer meets their needs. Every child deserves a safe, modern place to learn. #NHPolitics
$12.3M New Franklin School upgrades aim to fix 'unacceptable' space constraints
New Franklin School upgrades would bring it up to level of Portsmouth's other two elementary schools, officials say.

20 years ago, thousands of brave men and women stood up to save the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard from closure. Today, we spent a beautiful afternoon celebrating the anniversary of its removal from the Base Realignment and Closure List.

Health breakthroughs depend on stable funding. Arbitrary NIH grant cancellations threaten lives, jobs, and U.S. competitiveness. It’s time for reform.

Today we commemorate the anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Portsmouth, a historic moment when New Hampshire stood at the center of global diplomacy. Negotiators from Russia and Japan came together to end a devastating conflict and chart a path toward peace. #NHPolitics

On this day in 1905, in the U.S. state of New Hampshire, President Theodore Roosevelt mediated the end of the Russian-Japanese War. The Treaty of Portsmouth recognized Russia's defeat and Japan's rise to a major world power.

My heart breaks for these families.

Here in NH, my bills HB56 and HB159 (both important measures for gun safety) did not move forward this session. But I’m encouraged by all who keep pushing. We cannot give up on protecting our kids and communities.

Laws are part of it: background checks, age limits, prohibitions for DV perpetrators, red flag laws

Safe storage matters too - so your gun can’t be used by someone with intention to harm

But there’s more…

I have a list of things we can do to change this tempo of tragedy

The proposals are based on real data
They have had signals of efficacy

It may feel hopeless today but:

I refuse to give up.

Because - Our babies & our communities deserve better than a rolling litany of horrors.
