There is absolutely nothing old or consolidated about *multiracial, pluralistic democracy* in America. It only started 60 years ago.

And the conflict over whether or not it should be allowed to endure and prosper has been the central fault line in U.S. politics ever since.

No one should be shocked by this. If I could leave this country, I would do so in a heartbeat, and I have wanted to leave form quite some time. America is a misogynistic country.
"In 2025, 40% of women aged 15 to 44 say they would move abroad permanently if they had the opportunity. The current figure is four times higher than the 10% who shared this desire in 2014, when it was generally in line with other age and gender groups."

The Nazis pepper sprayed a baby.

This is what the shutdown should have been about, restoring the Constitution. This is what the next shutdown needs to be about. We cannot continue to fund this authoritarian regime.

💯
Is Schumer still the minority leader? Is Durbin still the whip? Is Cortes-Masto still a vice chair? Good Democrats -- rank and file, those committed to restoring party --must tell Act Blue and every candidate with hands out for the coming midterms -- that there's no cash coming without new leaders.

This, too, is what the shutdown should have been about, but feckless democrats can’t be bothered with human rights and the Constitution.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

Feminists have long been scared of looking mean, and as a result we’ve been way too nice to antifeminist women. Sorry no, you’re not submissive, servile, and dependent because you’re a woman and that’s just your feminine nature. You’re submissive, servile, and dependent because you lack self respect.
