I reject calls for civility from bigots spewing true vileness. The people who are the targets of any type of bigotry do not owe politeness to in the bigots dehumanizing them.
I take my generic paxil with the chocolate or coffee flavored drink.
Either English is not your first language or you are lying.
The first one is understandable.
The other one is inexcusable.
Yeah, it was unnecessary for Benji to escalate things by aggressively coming in with "who tf". "the fuck"? Real brazen shit & uncalled for.
The dick move is questioning you about who "y'all" are. Then lying about you doing some click bait shit when that is clearly their move. If they really needed to know who "y'all" were they could have checked your timeline. But also, it was always clear.
The few malls that remain around here have signs saying anyone under 16 must have a parent. A rule made by Gen X who grew up in malls. I worked in a mall for years & for most of the kids there a lot, the mall was a safe place where they found community.
Although the guy said some cool things, there were at least yellow flags the whole time.
If he is sincere in his reform, he can step down, keep learning, find other ways to serve his community, help others find a path to reforming.
If he isn't sincere, we'll see him on Rogan's podcast then Fox.
Have not heard of this one. Will be interested in your review.
In some ways Cuomo —himself an abuser— & supporters are treating Mamdani —who has a clean record— similar to how Italian Americans were treated a little more than 100 years ago. So when his grandparents & my great grandparents were alive. It's gross.
This is wild coming from Cuomo who himself is an abuser.
All of us need to know more queer history. I am a little familiar with this particular bit of history & definitely want to know more.

So excited to learn some queer history. This sailor dressed as a man and sacrificed their life to save others during the 1873 sinking of the SS Atlantic.

One of Wonder Woman's villains in 1947 was a dude named Professor Vibrate. Imaging telling that story now.
Yet another reason why courses in the humanities are so important. There would be less of this if there were more humanities education.

The "pro-weed" gun case is a trap for lefties. Yes, it's hypocritcal to take away guns from people who use weed, but not people who abuse alcohol. But the way to deal with that is to DECRIMINALIZE WEED, not expand gun rights.

Don’t Fall for the Supreme Court’s “Pro-Weed” Gun Case
The case, which proposes expanding gun access to drug users, is not an opportunity—it‘s a trap.

I've been doing a lot of work on
my yard & I'm close to having a designated spot for my dog's business. I had 4 other dogs & their visiting friends trained to go in 1 area so I'm hopeful it will work with Leia. A designated spot makes clean up so much easier.
Happy to share good stories!
Yeah, beans & greens are great. They're & work for breakfast, lunch, & dinner!
One accosted me at PATCO, sensing my German heritage. Then its weird buddies white supremacist appropriated Celtic & Norse tattoos showed up. Fortunately they saw my nerdy even by nerd standards Star Trek tattoo & went way.
I've also used nutritional yeast instead of parm for my vegan cousin & it was still good.
I discovered this at a local restaurant owned by a guy my grandmother used to babysit. He was a good cook & good host. But was missing his kids' childhood so he sold it & genuinely seemed happier as their little league coach & just being a present dad. I still miss his food tho!
Garlic & olive oil (& white wine) sautéed broccili rabe with cannellini beans topped with a little lemon and parmesan is also excellent.

The spectacularly odd defenses of Platner are reminding me that it's a really good thing to let things sit a day before commenting on them. There's no shame in having liked him and changing your mind given new information.
While it's possible to have a Norse/Viking themed tattoo & it not mean white supremacy, it too often is. So a person in Grant's position needs to be extra careful. Even if we pretend it's all "innocent mistakes", it still shows bad judgement & planning which alone is disqualifying (or should be).

Since John Roberts and Brett Kavanaugh are so desperate for a time limit on race-conscious remedies to systemic racism and they're itching to sunset the Voting Rights Act, well I give my permission. They can do it—in the year 2299.

Until then, shut the hell up.

My latest on Louisiana v. Callais:
Supreme Court Conservatives Are Tired of Hearing About Racism. Guess What? Me Too.
Will the Supreme Court and Chief Justice John Roberts finally completely gut the Voting Rights Act in Louisiana v. Callais?
