Other folks see the fascism, and they feel so hopeless that they don't act against it.

What we need is a combination of the ability to see things honestly as well as to be empowered.

I spent the afternoon at our local VA clinic with my 90 y/o Dad. He'd never accessed his VA benefits. We left with a brand new rollator and overwhelmed with the benefits he qualifies for. As we left, the social worker helped us to the car, she loved my anti Trump stickers!
