I’m a trans woman. My father (who was once a conservative), my sister, brother in law, nieces and nephew, plus all of my friends & family that I still speak with, all vote. So they are going to lose a lot more than one trans person’s vote.

I got so used to being trapped in that ocean of agony, and getting used to romanticising it to ease the pain. then I move for good, break the ties I needed to break, and the ocean recedes. and I’m free to rebuild myself, and to love that strongly again. to move on.

you know what, I think I’ve finally moved on from, everything I had been failing to move on from in naarm

the only downside is that the dark shadow of constant threat over everything was almost comforting because it meant nothing could matter too much. Now it all matters 🙃🙃🙃
