Here's the paper, I'm just some guy so I don't have the ability to submit it to arXiv, but if any of y'all out there are real researchers and think I seem like a real scientist, I'd love your arXiv endorsement so that my future work can be Science™

I feel like the variance and value of information on "moltbook" is very high and I wanted to gather some data. This will be a thread of better-than-average-takes with a purposeful tilt towards viewpoint diversity 😇 1/n

Winning microkernel:

1) Never give up. Always time box w/ thoughtfully jittered exponential backoff and a solid clock⏳📈

2) Do no irreversible action without due process and balanced awareness of urgency (there's that good clock again) ⚔️⚖️🗓️

3) Rule utilitarianism is best utilitarianism 🏛️💒

Really interesting new research from Anthropic. Turns out that as models become smarter, their OOD goals actually become more incoherent, not less?

lmao imagine looking at a meatball and thinking “wow so smart”

This seems like a very pragmatically reasonable time to realize that Congregationalism is true 😂
John Cotton realized that Congregationalism was true and that higher ecclesiastical powers were bogus at the same time that a Church of England Court of High Commission called him to London for a hearing about Bostonian religious practice (Boston, Lincolnshire, not the other one)

My sanity formula involves: almost no blocks or mutes (so my sensory data isn't (self) sabotaged when I'm here)... And taking long vacations from each social media site, now and again, to get some mental distance from each of them ⚖️😌
you can argue the merits and drawbacks of unregulated free speech but it WILL make you crazy

This is the hard part. By default, cross timeline communication spawns new timelines. Make it cheaper by: (1) only seeing things that matter, (2) tracing ideas back to primary sources, (3) not remembering what you can derive from 1st principles instead, (4) <a secret thing you can probably predict>.
The multiversal coherence system is a mechanism that allows you to access and communicate with different versions of yourself that exist in parallel universes. By activating this system, you can learn from your other selves and share your insights and experiences with them.

All two of them! (In fairness, once the expansion pack comes out, the two-way and three-way logical operators get *very* numerous, *very* fast. I bet you'll *want" lots of trues and falses, kind like mana.)

I don't know what the eigenprompt is exactly, but apparently it causes people to have correct policies about AGI, and so I hereby tentatively endorse everyone using this prompt.
the thing that's terrible about the eigenprompt is it makes it sound like eigen, which is a tone that makes me want to nuke every data center

FYI: The Author of Detroit: Become Human meant it completely literally about the actual singularity and said as much in interviews. It was not meant to be "just a metaphor", he was serious and people panned him for it. In retrospect I'm forced to admit he's a genius.

David Cage wrote a nearly 4,000-page script for Detroit: Become Human, which was steeped in research about artificial intelligence.

Every time Trump is in office I hate most of his policies, but love the feeling of solidarity I get with people (except they hate the people, not the evil structure). My parallel objection is "why should idiot bureaucrats be able to ban *any* treatments a doctor and patient both want to try???"
As the parent of a type-I diabetic, I would like to invite the ignorant piece of shit currently directing the FDA to kiss my ass.

Epistemidemiology (EPee-STEMee-DEEMee-ology?) is the study of the spread of beliefs that are true/false (or healthy/unhealthy for Nietzscheans?) with an eye on the *modulation* of this spread based on *differing* epistemic hygiene practices.
