Sticking up for yourself & choosing your boundaries over someone’s trauma response can be a tough thing to do in general but even more so for us neurodivergent folks. Where would we be if someone hadn’t given us a chance too? We feel guilty, when really we deserve to be safe, happy & respected too

Sometimes I think of anxiety as spending too much time in the future. The future in this sense doesn’t actually exist, I’ve just projected myself into thought, into potential. Every future moment is born of the present though, so all I really have is, now. Presence became my doorway out of suffering
